Is My Midland GXT1000 Two-Way Radios Compatible with Other GMRS and FRS radios?

Yes. Each Midland two-way GMRS and FRS radios work well with other GMRS and FRS radios. When you are communicating with a different model or different brand be sure to check the channel frequency tables for each radio. This can be located in the owner’s manuals, from there select a common frequency and you should connect regardless of the channel number.
