The CoBolt® is an all-around tool that meets the toughest demands! This compact bolt cutter offers the power of a standard bolt cutter with 30% less hand force required, all in a compact 8″ size, for great portability and use on the job. At only 11 ounces, the tool is lightweight. The CoBolt® offers 60% less hand force compared to standard high leverage diagonal cutting pliers. The cutting edge recess near the joint keeps thicker wires in a better cutting position with optimal lever ratio so there is no need to reposition the tool to achieve the desired cut. You get a cutting force 20 times higher than the hand force applied! The 64 HRC cutting edge hardness provides superior cutting for several materials: soft wire, hard wire, piano wire and bolts, nails and rivets up to 1/8″. It is made of chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel; forged and oil-hardened.
