Description

This 3/4 inch residential purge and balancing valve is used in heating applications on boiler return piping to facilitate removal of air from heating zones on initial fill and to control water flow through circulation loop. It also serves as a shutoff and drain valve for each zone or loop. It consists of a one-piece brass/bronze body construction, plated brass ball, virgin PTFE seats, solder inlet and outlet connection for purging, and iron handle. It provides high-volume purging, accurate balancing, a positive drip-tight shutoff, and is ideal for use in hydronic heating loops. The maximum working pressure is 50 PSI (344.8kPa).
